Account details can include your name, email, profile picture, sign-in method, and plan. Password sign-in stores a password hash rather than your plain-text password. Google sign-in can provide your name, email, and profile picture.

Practice records can include typing speed, accuracy, mistakes, duration, scores, streaks, and lesson or game progress. Some settings and progress stay in browser storage; supported account records are also saved on the server.

Session and security records can include session identifiers, IP address, device or browser information, activity, and errors. Support messages contain the information you choose to send.

Information supports sign-in, preferences, saved progress, results, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and support. Account and password-reset messages support the features you use.

The final notice still needs to confirm the legal basis for each use and any consent requirements for the countries served. This draft does not request or record your consent.

Exercises handle input differently. Use supplied or fictional information instead of passwords, financial details, or confidential documents. Chat practice does not by itself mean that messages are sent to other people or an AI provider.

Voice controls use browser speech recognition, and voice playback uses browser speech synthesis. Depending on your browser, speech processing may involve its provider. You can manage microphone permission in your browser settings.

The complete input and audio data flows, any external AI providers, and storage periods still need confirmation. We do not claim that all input or audio stays on your device.

Session cookies support sign-in. Browser storage remembers preferences and local progress. Clearing that storage can remove local records; it does not delete your server account.

Typido includes Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights integrations for usage and page-performance measurements. Vercel describes its Web Analytics as cookie-free. This does not mean that Typido has no cookies: account sessions still use them.

Optional analytics and performance measurement load only after you choose Allow analytics. Choose Essential only to decline. You can change your choice through Cookie preferences in the site footer, privacy page, or dashboard account settings.

Google supports Google sign-in, while Vercel integrations support analytics and performance measurements. Hosting, database, support, and email services can also process information needed to operate Typido. The complete production provider list, processing locations, and transfer arrangements are pending.

Advertising for Free and ad-free Pro access are planned. Ad providers, data use, and consent or age protections must be explained before advertising is enabled.

Paid checkout is not open. The payment provider and billing-data handling are not yet confirmed.

Signed-in viewers can see the top ten typists, with profile display names, speed, accuracy, and result timing. Standard tests lasting at least 30 seconds with 80% or better accuracy are eligible. Each person appears once using their best qualifying result in the selected period. Email addresses are not included.

Ranking is automatic; there is no separate joining step. Changing your profile display name updates the name shown with your results. Clearing saved test history removes those results from the leaderboard.

You can change supported account settings and manage microphone permissions or local storage through your browser. Use the contact page for questions about access, correction, a data copy, deletion, or other privacy choices available under applicable law.

Self-service account deletion is not currently implemented. Request verification, response times, deletion timing, and any records that must be retained still need to be finalized. Clearing browser storage or signing out does not delete an account.

The account code uses password hashing, session cookies, and access checks. These safeguards do not guarantee perfect security.

Retention periods for account records, practice data, support messages, security logs, billing records, and backups are not finalized. Deletion exceptions, backup removal, and incident-response procedures need confirmation before this notice takes effect.

The planned minimum age for independently managed accounts is 18. Parent-managed access for younger learners and the associated consent and privacy protections are not yet finalized.

If you have a concern about a child’s information, use the contact page to explain the issue. Do not include unnecessary sensitive details.

The existing business draft identifies Typido as operated by an individual based in India. The operator’s legal name and business contact details remain pending.

The contact page lists support@typido.com. Mailbox delivery and the formal privacy-request contact still need verification.
